About Us

At Humanitas, our primary mission is to prevent the abandonment and the institutionalisation of children. We achieve this through a variety of medical and support projects and by providing homes for children though foster care and family style residential homes.

We believe that investing in the lives of children and their communities is one of the greatest investments that can be made.

Humanitas currently runs ten different projects throughout Romania and Albania. We’ve transformed the lives of over 4,000 children and impacted 25 towns. Over the next four years we’re aiming to reach many more thousands with the delivery of our unique educational social welfare and health care projects.
We are confident that with each project’s implementation, more transformation will happen in the lives of those who need it most.
